To become an Ofsted registered nanny, one must first register on the Voluntary Register with Ofsted, possess a valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, achieve certification to Level 2 or 3 with training in Common Core Skills, undergo an enhanced DBS check, and obtain nanny public liability insurance.

The course consists of 6 hours of practical training and an additional 6 hours online. These 12 hours cover all the necessary information and hands-on experience required to meet the Ofsted requirements.

The Early Years Care and Education Course we offer integrates the necessary Common Core Skills needed for Ofsted registration, along with supplementary modules designed to assist every student in reaching their full potential.
The Common Core Skills cover topics such as:
