3. Every live-in carer registered with Guardian Carers must hold a valid first aid certification, not exceeding 3 years old. This certification ensures that carers are equipped to handle emergency situations and offer immediate medical assistance when necessary.
4. We conduct thorough employment verification checks to confirm the previous work history of our live-in carers, ensuring that they possess relevant experience and a proven track record in delivering in-home care.
5. Each live-in carer undergoes a face-to-face interview with an in-home care professional to evaluate their communication skills, professionalism, and suitability for the role.
6. We meticulously verify the verbal references provided by the live-in carers, gathering insights from previous employers or clients regarding the carer’s performance and reliability.
7. Guardian Carers carries out a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) or Police check for all live-in carers to confirm that they have a clean criminal record and can be relied upon to provide safe and trustworthy care.
